(Hapkido)
Hapkido, a Korean martial art which means, “The Way of Coordinated Power”, is not a sport or game. Based on the principles of non-resistance and circular motion, it is a way of personal development and self-defense.
The Martial Art of Hapkido will be offered at
Trinitas Academy on Tuesdays from 3-4 pm for children ages 5 and up. For enrichment information contact the school office.

Classes are taught by Master Instructor (Sabunim) Philip J. Barrett, a 41 year old veteran martial artist and former police officer. Classes will focus on kids’ safety, coordination, and agility building, as well as the traditional concepts of hapkido training. Beginning skills include: proper falling, rolling, and basic tumbling, throws, grab escapes, and more.
